Capitals Amsterdam and Paris and London Tour

We meet in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport’s International Departures Terminal 3 hours before the flight. After completing baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Amsterdam at 08.25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1951. Following our arrival at 10.10 local time, we begin our Amsterdam city tour in the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Sights on the tour include Dam Square, Central Station, the National Monument, the Royal Palace and the Flower Market. After the city tour, guests who wish may join the optional Amsterdam Canals tour at an extra charge. (40 Euro) On this boat tour, we view Amsterdam and its architecture from its canals. The city has 165 canals with a total length exceeding 100 km. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotels in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Fairy-Tale Villages and Waterways tour (Zaanse Schans & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village) at an extra cost. The tour costs 110 Euro. We first visit the town of Zaanse Schans. This town in the Netherlands is known for its historic windmills dating back to the 17th century that are still in operation, its wooden houses and its natural surroundings. These buildings give the town the character of an open-air museum. The 2nd stop on our tour is Marken. Once an island, Marken was later connected to the mainland by filling in the stretch of water between them. After exploring Marken, we head to Volendam. Volendam is known for its harbour, traditional Dutch houses and people wearing traditional clothing. Here you can taste seafood and cheeses and buy reasonably priced souvenirs. After visiting Volendam, we continue to our final stop, Giethoorn Hobbit Village. Giethoorn, one of Europe's villages, began to gain recognition through the 1958 film Fanfare, which was filmed here, and has attracted more visitors over time. The village welcomes more than 800.000 tourists a year.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional Discoveries (Rotterdam & Delft & The Hague) tour at an extra charge. (80 Euro) The first stop on the tour will be Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second-largest city. Rebuilt after World War 2, the city is home to Europe’s largest port. The city tour will include views of Euromast Tower, the Old Harbour district, Erasmus Bridge (Erasmusbrug), nicknamed the Swan, and the Cube Houses. We will then travel to Delft. After touring this city, known for its historic canals, workshops renowned for their tile-making, and streets that retain their medieval character, we will continue to The Hague. The Netherlands’ 3rd-largest city in terms of population density, The Hague is also the country’s administrative centre. The Parliament Building (Binnenhof) and the International Court of Justice are located here. After our visit to the city, sometimes called the hidden capital because of its role as the administrative centre, we will transfer to the hotel, followed by free time. Overnight accommodation will be in or around Amsterdam.

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Paris. Upon arrival, our city tour takes us past Charles de Gaulle and the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, the Louvre Museum and Pyramid, Etoile Square, the Grand Palais and Petit Palais Exhibition Palaces, Concorde Square and the Obelisk, the French Parliament Building, 3. Alexandre Bridge, the Seine River, Napoleon’s Tomb and the Eiffel Tower. After the tour, there is free time. Guests who wish can then join the optional Paris by Night tour at an extra charge. (35 Euro) On this tour, we see Champs Elysees, Concorde Square, the Louvre Museum and various boulevards, buildings and squares illuminated at night. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at a hotel in Paris or the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional Paris Masterpieces & Seine River Boat Tour (Eiffel Tower & Seine River Boat Trip & Montmarte Artists’ Hill & Sacre Coeur Basilica & Notre Dame Cathedral), offered at an extra charge. The tour costs 110 Euro. Our first stop is the Eiffel Tower, one of the city’s landmarks, visited by millions of tourists every year. We go up to the tower’s 2nd floor to view Paris from above. We then take a boat trip along the Seine River, which divides Paris in two, and see the historic buildings on both banks. After the boat trip, we take the funicular up Montmarte Hill, the highest hill in Paris. On this hill, which bears traces of artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henry Toulouse Lautrec, Dalida, Vincent Van Gogh and Jean Marais, we first see Sacre Coeur (Church of Vows). We then stop at Tertre Square for shopping and the opportunity to have your portrait drawn. After the break, we visit Notre Dame Cathedral, a symbol of France’s history and one of the buildings that define the Paris skyline.

After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Paris Station to travel to London by train. We arrive in London after a journey of approximately 3 hours. We board the vehicle waiting for us at the station and begin our city tour. During our tour of London, which welcomes millions of tourists every year, we see Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament, the Church of Saint Peter at Westminster, Westminster Bridge, the shopping streets of Oxford Street and Regent Street, and the River Thames. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. We spend the night at our hotels in or around London.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional Icons of London (London Eye & Westminster & Thames River Boat Tour) excursion at an extra charge. (150 Euro) Opened to visitors in 2000, the London Eye stands 135 metres tall and has 32 passenger capsules. These 32 capsules represent London’s 32 boroughs. At 135 metres tall, the London Eye is Europe’s largest observation wheel and offers views of London and the River Thames. Stop 2 on our tour will be the Westminster area. The sights we will see here include Westminster Abbey (St. Peter Church), where the British Royal Family’s traditional coronation and burial ceremonies take place, Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and the West End. After these visits, we will take a boat tour on the River Thames, one of London’s landmarks, which divides the city in two. After the boat tour, we will be transferred to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out. We leave for the airport at the time specified by our guide. After completing baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 17.25 on Türk Dubai Hava Yolları flight TK1998. Our tour ends upon arrival in Istanbul at 23.55 local time.
