Explore China: Beijing, Xi'an & Shanghai Tour (11 Days)

Our journey begins at Istanbul Airport's International Terminal, where we meet with representatives from Ejder Tourism. We take off on Turkish Airlines flight TK 196 at 17:05, heading to Beijing, the ancient capital of China. During our comfortable and direct flight, we will spend the night on board, enjoying Turkish Airlines' world-class service.

We arrive at Beijing Airport (PEK) at 07:15 local time. After completing customs procedures, we will transfer to Tiananmen Square, the political heart of China, in our private vehicle. Next, we will explore the Forbidden City, the largest palace complex in the world that has hosted 24 emperors over 500 years. With its thousands of rooms and golden-roofed palaces, this massive structure will captivate you. Dinner: Enjoy exquisite examples of Beijing cuisine at a local restaurant. After breakfast, we will head to the Great Wall of China (Juyongguan Section), one of the seven wonders of the world. As we walk along this massive defensive structure that winds through the mountain peaks, we will feel the breath of thousands of years of history. In the afternoon, we will visit the Summer Palace, famous for its artificial lake and artistic bridges, where emperors sought refuge to cool off during the summer months. Today, we will visit the Temple of Heaven, one of the most aesthetic structures in Beijing, where emperors prayed for good harvests. After that, we will head to the Hutong area, famous for its narrow labyrinthine streets that preserve traditional Beijing life. During our tour here in traditional "Rickshaw" vehicles, we will discover the true spirit behind modern Beijing. Dinner: One of the highlights of our tour; a feast of the famous Peking Duck. After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to Beijing Railway Station and embark on a comfortable journey to Xi'an, the ancient capital of China, aboard the High-Speed Train, reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h for approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the world's best-preserved Ancient City Walls, which protect the city and are suitable for cycling. We start the day with one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in world history: the Terracotta Army (Toprak Askerler). Here, we will see thousands of soldiers, each with a unique facial expression, created to protect Emperor Qin Shi Huang in his tomb. In the afternoon, we will explore the vibrant Muslim Quarter, a colorful area that developed as a stop on the Silk Road, along with its exotic market. After breakfast, we board the high-speed train once again and head towards Shanghai, the financial and modernism capital of China. We will arrive in this vast metropolis in the evening, and our first stop will be The Bund, where colonial buildings preserve the historical texture, along with the impressive skyline created by the skyscrapers on the opposite bank (Oriental Pearl, Shanghai Tower). In the morning, we will explore Yu Garden (Yuyuan Garden), a stunning example of Chinese garden art featuring temples and ponds. Afterwards, we will enjoy free time in the heart of Shanghai on Nanjing Road, one of the largest shopping streets in the world. In the evening, we will continue to discover the sparkling streets of Shanghai. Lunch: Shanghai-style seafood and vegetable delicacies. Accommodation: Charms Hotel Shanghai 4.

In the first half of the day, we will visit the historic water town of Zhujiajiao, known as the "Venice of China." During our boat tour through the canals, we will have the opportunity to photograph the ancient stone bridges and traditional houses along the riverside. In the evening, we return to Shanghai and conclude our tour with a special farewell boat cruise on the Huangpu River. Dinner: A special menu as the farewell dinner of the tour. After our last breakfast at the hotel, we will have ample free time today for personal explorations or last-minute shopping in Shanghai. In the evening, we will transfer to Pudong Airport with our guide. We will depart for Istanbul at 23:05 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 027.
