Barcelona Tour

Meeting at the SunExpress Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport 3 hours before the flight. After completing luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Barcelona on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 894 at 11:35. Upon arrival at 13:15 local time, our city tour begins with a vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and has gained worldwide fame as the vibrant and enchanting capital of the Catalonia region. Bathed in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers a unique blend of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its stunning architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors each year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with the unique works of Antoni Gaudí. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites including the La Sagrada Familia Church, the Cristof Colomb Monument, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Squares, the Andalusian Arena, and the Olympic Port. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join the optional tour of the Magnificent Pearls of Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum) for an additional cost of 70 Euro. Our first stop will be Girona. This historic city, located in northeastern Catalonia and approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. During our tour here, we will visit notable sites including the Lion Statue, the Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). Following our tour, we will head towards the city of Figueras. Figueras, located to the northeast of Girona, is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueras is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established this museum to leave something behind in his birthplace and to showcase his works. Today, this museum houses the largest collection of Dali's works and is considered Dali's greatest masterpiece as he designed every aspect of it.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join the optional tour of Gaudi's Magnificent Work Park Guell & Gothic Quarter (60 Euro). Our first stop will be Park Guell. This magnificent work by Antoni Gaudi is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Known as the fairytale park, it creates a whimsical atmosphere with its colorful staircases and imaginative pavilions. After experiencing this stunning masterpiece by Gaudi, we will proceed to our second stop, the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages with its narrow, labyrinthine streets, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, and admire the historical texture. Among the most important buildings in the neighborhood are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish to can join the optional tour of Magnificent Sitges (40 Euro). Sitges is a charming coastal town located southwest of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport at a time determined by your guide. Following the baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, you will depart on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 895 at 14:15 to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. You will arrive at 19:25 local time, marking the end of our tour.
