Alps and French Riviera Tour

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before the flight. After completing our baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, we fly to Milan on a scheduled Turkish Airlines service. Upon arrival, we board our waiting private coach at the airport and depart for the city tour. Located in northern Italy, Milan is a dynamic center of fashion, design and business. Milan Cathedral, one of the city’s landmarks, is an important example of Gothic architecture. The fifth-largest church in the world, it is also one of Europe’s largest Gothic cathedrals. Its white-marble façade is decorated with detailed carvings and numerous statues. The golden Little Madonna statue at the top of the cathedral is especially notable and is regarded as the city’s patron saint. The shopping gallery, known for its glass ceiling and mosaic floors, contains luxury-brand stores, stylish cafés and restaurants. The best-known of the gallery’s four main entrances opens onto Cathedral Square. Upon entering from here, its architecture immediately draws attention for combining modern engineering with traditional art.

AOSTA VALLEY - MONT BLANC - GENEVA After breakfast, we check out from the hotel and set off towards the Aosta Valley. The Aosta Valley is a region located in the northwest of Italy and takes its name from the city of Aosta. This valley is famous for its historical and natural beauty and offers visitors a unique experience. Home to historical remains and structures from the Roman Empire period, the valley has a captivating atmosphere with its impressive mountain landscapes, green-covered valleys, and old villages. Fort Bard, one of the historical castles in the valley, was restored by the House of Savoy in the 19th century and is now used as a museum and for cultural events. Saint-Vincent, located in the south of the Aosta Valley, is famous for its thermal waters and games of chance. Also located here, Saint-Vincent Castle and the Casino de la Vallée can be visited. Then we give free time in the village of Courmayeur, located at the foothills of Mont Blanc, the highest point in Europe and the Alps. This cute village is referred to as Italy's finest all-around ski center.

LAUSANNE – MONTREUX - GENEVA After breakfast, we set out to explore Geneva. The city centre of Geneva is a lively and cosmopolitan area that brings together both historical and modern elements. Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, the city centre offers visitors a rich cultural experience. The Old Town, the historic heart of Geneva, is famous for its narrow, cobblestone lanes, ancient buildings and historic structures. Here you will find important sights such as Geneva Cathedral (St. Pierre Cathedral), Maison Tavel (Geneva's oldest house) and the Reformation Wall. Antique shops, galleries and charming cafés are also located in this area. Rues Basses is one of Geneva's main shopping streets. Rue du Rhône and Rue du Marché are streets lined with luxury boutiques, famous brands and a variety of shops. Here you can go shopping and feel the energetic atmosphere of the city centre. After our tour of Geneva city centre, we head to Lausanne, located on the northern shore of Lake Geneva. Known for its historical and cultural riches, in this city we will see Lausanne Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture, built in the 13th century.

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and set out for Annecy. Located on the shore of Lake Annecy in France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, Annecy is known for its history and natural beauty. Also known as the “Venice of the Alps,” the city stands out for its canals, historic buildings and natural setting. Annecy Castle, built in the 12th century, overlooks the city and lake. Inside the castle is a museum displaying the region’s history and art. While exploring the colorful buildings and narrow streets of Annecy’s old city, you can also see numerous boutique cafés and restaurants. Lake Annecy, known for its cleanliness and beauty, is suitable for swimming, boat trips, paddleboarding and other water sports. Walking and cycling paths also run around the lake. After our Annecy tour, we depart for Lyon, a city rich in history, culture and gastronomy. Old Lyon, known for its narrow Renaissance streets, historic buildings and hidden passageways called traboules, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist and the House of Lawyers are also located in this area.

After breakfast, we depart for Avignon. Located on the Rhône River in France’s Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, Avignon is known for its historical and cultural heritage, medieval structures and historic city center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city’s best-known landmark, the Palace of the Popes, was built in the 14th century and served as the residence of the popes who moved from Rome during the Middle Ages. It is Europe’s largest Gothic palace. Saint Benezet Bridge, also known as “Avignon Bridge,” was built in the 12th century. Although only four of its arches survive today, the bridge retains its historical and touristic importance and remains one of Avignon’s principal landmarks. Clock Square, the city’s main square, is surrounded by cafés, restaurants and the historic town hall. Avignon Cathedral, beside the Palace of the Popes, was built in the 12th century and is an important example of Romanesque architecture. After seeing Avignon’s notable landmarks, we continue to Aix-en-Provence.

CANNES – MONACO – MONTE CARLO - NICE After breakfast, we set off for Cannes. Cannes is a delightful holiday destination for everyone with its beautiful beaches, cultural events, and Mediterranean atmosphere. It is an ideal city for those who wish to both relax and explore. La Croisette is Cannes' most famous boulevard. It stretches along the seafront of the city and is renowned for its luxury shops, hotels, and beaches. You can take a stroll and enjoy the sea view. Palais des Festivals et des Congrès is home to the famous building where the Cannes Film Festival is held. The renowned "Red Carpet" event takes place here. Le Suquet (Old Town), the historic centre of Cannes, sits on the hills and, with its narrow streets, old churches, and views, is well worth a visit. After our tour in Cannes, we continue to Monaco. Monaco is a small yet impressive country and tourist destination known for its luxury, wealth, and world-famous events. It offers a variety of options for both history and culture lovers and those who enjoy entertainment and luxury. Monaco-Ville (Le Rocher) is the historic centre and old town of Monaco.

After breakfast, we depart for Genoa. Once an important trading center, Genoa’s historic Old Port now contains many tourist attractions. These include the Genoa Aquarium and the Galata Maritime Museum. The Doge’s Palace in central Genoa hosts historical and cultural events and stands out for its inner courtyard and art galleries. Ferrari Square, the city’s main square, lies in the heart of Genoa and is known for its elegant buildings, statues and fountain. Important buildings such as the Opera House surround the square. The Cathedral of Saint Lawrence, one of Genoa’s main religious buildings, combines Romanesque and Gothic styles and is an important symbol reflecting the city’s history. After our Genoa tour, we depart for Portofino. Located on Italy’s Mediterranean coast, Portofino appeals to those seeking a peaceful escape with its natural setting, historical heritage and calm atmosphere. Despite its small size, it offers visitors a range of experiences. After our boat tour, transfer to your hotel and free time to rest.

MILAN – ISTANBUL After breakfast, check out and transfer to Milan Airport at the time announced by your guide. Departure to Istanbul by a scheduled flight of Turkish Airlines.
