T is quite a special moment when you arrive at the majestic and regal Villa Principe Leopoldo! Such a romantic and serene hotel! This is a beautiful historic hotel that whispers of its amazing past! The views from the back patio/ bar area are magical! You have a ringside seat to some of the most breathtaking views of Lake Lugano and Lugano. We had great dining, food and drink, and loved our romantic evenings . The staff and service level here complete your perfect stay. You want for nothing. Special thanks to Giorgio, Mario, Galin, Nicola, Luca and Marianne. We loved all our talks and service ! But everyone, we encountered couldn’t have provided better service. Highly recommend! You won’t regret it! ,

The breakfast was excellent, and the view was absolutely stunning. I would also like to give special thanks to Galin for his outstanding service and professionalism throughout our stay. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to the city center, which was very convenient. We also appreciated the complimentary one-hour access to the spa facilities, including the jacuzzi, relaxation room, cold shower, sauna, and steam room. However, we experienced one issue that was quite concerning. The housekeeping staff cleaned our room and left the room door open afterwards. This is not acceptable from a safety and security perspective, especially since all of our personal belongings were inside the room. We hope the hotel addresses this matter to ensure it does not happen to other guests.

Unrivaled view from their terrace, you have to stop by for a picture in the spring or summer. The gourmet restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is mediocre, 4* max. The spa is private and nice. However it would be better to rethink the spa concept so that all guests can enjoy the spa without a very high charge. It is really a very relaxing stay in a most unique location.
