Villa Ermellina Siena, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We stayed at Villa Ermellina for five nights and, despite a small miscommunication on our first evening, every day after that was filled with warmth, wonderful service, and memorable experiences. The property itself is absolutely stunning — the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and savor every moment. The pool area was beautiful and impeccably maintained, a perfect spot to relax between days out exploring Tuscany. The staff truly made our stay special. Breakfast and the bar team were consistently warm and welcoming, and the front desk went above and beyond, putting together thoughtful recommendations for local sights, restaurants, and wineries that shaped some of our favorite moments from the trip. A special mention for Gianluigi, the general manager, whose attentiveness and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed. His care for every detail of our stay made a real difference, and it's clear he sets the tone for the exceptional team around him. As an aside, there is so much to do locally so having a car was a huge benefit during our stay here. We'd happily return and recommend Villa Ermellina to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming base in Siena.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Ermellina. The complimentary parking is a huge plus and it makes a great base for touring around Tuscany. Excellent views from the terrace and the food at the restaurant was very good. I am a Titanium member and got an upgrade to a slightly larger room, the base rooms are quite small. I think Marriott does this property a disservice by marketing it to the public as luxury when it is actually in the premium brand tier. It meets all expectations of a premium brand, but the marketing pushes it as luxury which it is not. One thing I think there is room for improvement on is the breakfast service. You sit wherever you want and when it is busy, they fall behind on having tables set which makes tracking down silverware a challenge. It would be more efficient if they either set out silverware at the buffet, or sat you and then provided place settings upon seating. Otherwise, a lovely property!

We stayed at the hotel for a week and had an amazing experience. The hotel’s design is beautiful, and the rooms are stylish, comfortable, and well-equipped. The beds were excellent, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making our stay especially comfortable. It was also noticeable that the food and beverage offering has recently been improved. The service staff were confident, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The only area that could still be enhanced is the pool menu, which would benefit from a wider selection of beverages. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would be happy to return.
