Four Points by Sheraton Siena

We just got really bad service at reception. When check-in, they took full payment for the room without cross-referencing on the booking website, which means we got double-charged. We figured out this issue an hour later after check-in, and we went downstairs to bring this concern to the same receptionist. We got a straight-up answer, “We don’t have the money from booking.” After we showed the receipt, she checked on the computer for 5 mins and found the money had been paid by booking. And without a simple explanation and apology, she told us we would get our money back at check-out. And even worse, after I told her this was a bad experience, is there any compensation they can do, like any coupon for some services here? I got a straight-up answer, “No, we don’t have a coupon.” My wife has been housekeeping for many years, we know how hard people work at hotels. We normally don’t like to write a bad review, so I still give it 3 stars. Btw The hotel is nice, and the room and bed are really comfortable.

Very disappointing experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the overall condition of the room was far below expectations. There were ants, the hotel feels old and poorly maintained, and the soundproofing is extremely poor — we could clearly hear everything from neighboring rooms, including toilets and TV, which made it impossible to rest properly. When we raised these issues, no real solution was offered. We were shown another room, but it was of the same standard and did not solve the problem. The staff was rigid and not particularly pleasant, which made the situation even more frustrating. The most shocking part was the attitude of a staff member who spoke to us in a very disrespectful manner when we simply asked for extra pillows. This is absolutely not acceptable, especially from a hotel of this brand. Overall, a very disappointing stay, with poor service and no willingness to take customer concerns seriously. I would not recommend this hotel.

First of all I’m gonna write about good things in this hotel even though it’s very limited. The waitress in the pizzeria was nice and friendly also the guy with the ponytail in the breakfast was a great guy. Other than these, this hotel is the worst chain hotel that we ever stayed. While we are checking in they said since we reserved the room via 3rd party provider, we cannot have any benefits from our marriot bonvoy gold membership which I understand if that’s the rules but, the woman in the reception explained this in a very rude manner, like we are wanting something too extraordinary. Parking is very tricky not so much space in the parking lot for a large hotel. Breakfast is very bland, old coffee machine, there was even only plastic cups for water and juice. Rude greeting employees who don’t even know how to talk to the guests. Also, there was a weird smell on the corridor. Room was old and there wasn’t any insulation in the room, you hear everything around the room. If you want to rest in your room, I suggest to go to a different hotel.
