The Ritz-Carlton Toronto

I stayed here for an event and I found my stay to be very average. Toronto has much nicer hotels at this price point. The laminate wall paneling in the lobby cheapens the atmosphere and it's carried into the rooms unfortunately. They have no right charging what they do for these rooms, this is not Ritz worthy. We booked a family suite as we were six people yet they only had four robes, four sets of slippers and two towels in each bathroom. I had to call and ask for more. The bathroom was also lacking the "luxury" toiletries you'd expect like makeup remover pads, vanity kit, bubble bath etc. Not to mention the products in the bathroom are a big miss, overly scented and very off putting - hotels usually have "universally" liked scents but this was a mix of bad perfume and cleaning products. Valet parking was quite rude when we arrived and very slow to assist. When the car in front of us tried to get their own cart they were rudely told to wait. First impressions matter! This hotel is four diamond, tops! Go to the Shangri La instead.

I recently stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for a work conference and the entire experience was so great from start to finish. The service was incredible. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and prompt. Level of care that truly stood out. Not to mention, the hotel itself is beautiful with first class amenities throughout - a clear reflection of the high standards. Easily a seamless delivery on both service and experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will gladly be returning again!!

Lived up to the hype of the ritz carlton. Was only able to stay one night after moving out from Toronto and before my early morning flight. However, beauitful rooms with a great view. They acknowledged my marriot gold status and gave me a higher floor. The view was amazing. Such great service. One of the best hotel gyms I have ever used. I hope to be able to come back here for a stay.
