Swissôtel Sarajevo

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. The spa was exceptional—peaceful, clean, and incredibly relaxing. The treatments were professional, and the facilities created the perfect atmosphere to unwind. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel and spa to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and excellent service. I look forward to visiting again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early June 2026. We liked our room which was more long than it was wide which I thought was strange at first but got used to. The bed was very comfortable and firm which we liked. The hotel toiletries (shampoo, soap, lotion) were not the best but that was ok as we brought used toiletries from earlier hotel stays. Here are a couple of watch outs: 1) The hotel is at least a half hour walk to old town. The hotel definitely felt more like a business hotel but catered to tourists as well. We found ourselves spending a lot of time walking back and forth. If you want to be close to old town, don’t stay here. 2) The breakfast was satisfactory but not great. On this trip, it was the least appealing breakfast of all our hotel stays. That being said, we generally have a high standard of hotels that we stay at. The hotel is much more expensive than other hotels in the city. If staying at a modern hotel is important, this is a good choice. If you want to be closer to old town, I would take a pass especially given the price differential.
