Sunstar Hotel Pontresina

Our stay at Sunstar Hotel Pontresina was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our trip through Switzerland. The hotel offers the perfect balance between comfort, tranquility, and Alpine charm. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after days spent exploring the Engadin region. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always happy to help with recommendations and any requests. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day. Everything was well presented and constantly replenished. We particularly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of Pontresina, the stunning mountain surroundings, and the hotel’s convenient location for exploring St. Moritz and the Bernina region. The overall experience exceeded our expectations. Sunstar Pontresina combines Swiss hospitality, comfort, and beautiful scenery in a way that made us wish we had stayed longer. I had a wonderful stay at Sunstar Pontresina! The dinner was absolutely phenomenal — beautifully prepared dishes, excellent quality, and a great dining experience overall. The ambience throughout the hotel is warm, stylish, and relaxing, with a modernized feel that still keeps a cozy mountain charm. The location is super convenient, making it easy to explore Pontresina and the surrounding areas by train or bus. Everything was very clean and well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. The team was prompt with transfers to the train station while we had many bags to carry! I also really enjoyed the wellness area — the saunas and steam room were perfect for relaxing after a day out. Overall, this hotel combines modern comfort, beautiful design, and great hospitality. I would definitely recommend Sunstar Pontresina to anyone visiting the region!
