Hotel Maistra 160

Superb modern hotel in a very scenic location. Managers are very hands-on and friendly and keep standards extremely high. Furniture is very tasteful and the view from our room was spectacular. There is a great variety of options at breakfast and the restaurant was also good for other meals. The creative box is a unique space for children who like making things, with a 3d printer and laser engraving machine.

I don't see the point of the 4.9 overall rating. This hotel deserves even higher rating than 5.0 Very modern, clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, restaurant serves Michelin level food (try home made gnocchi). The staff is wonderful, starting from front desk, bar, restaurant, housekeeping.. Kudos to all, keep up the great work. Location is perfect, and Pontresina is a must visit place when traveling to Switzerland. The interior design is something else. I would personally like to shake the hands of the architect, and for the idea and the realisation. This happens with owners who have full trust in the creativity process. I could go on and on for the whole day. If you are ready for adventure, do not miss the rent a bike option, and head out above Pontresina. The views are stunning. Also, you can take the scenic and peaceful forest trails to St. Moritz, passing by Lej da Staz. The spa is wonderful as well. Highly recommend hotel!
