The service is great, even if you don't understand each other linguistically - the staff will do everything possible to help, there are a lot of attractions within walking distance. There are not very expensive breakfasts for those who want to leave the room and eat right away. The rooms themselves are cramped, but very comfortable in terms of cleanliness, freshness and coziness (it is worth noting that the renovation is not new and minor flaws will be visible). However, all the disadvantages are interrupted by the atmosphere, the comfort of housing and people. I really liked it
A wonderful stay! Sultan House is perfectly located in the heart of Sultanahmet – you couldn’t ask for a better base to explore Istanbul’s top sights. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. A hotel we can wholeheartedly recommend – we’d love to come back!

Istanbul was our first stop on our trip to Turkey and let me just say that Sultan House was so disappointing that it almost ruined our first leg of the trip. First, the check in staff are absolutely miserable and not hospitable in the least. I have never dealt with someone in hospitality that was less friendly. No smiles, didn't offer to help with our bag, acted as if we were an inconvenience (and we checked in during our designated check in time so it was no inconvenience). Then for the room...Let me start off by pointing out that I upgraded our room to a deluxe double. The room looked NOTHING like the photos and I mean NOTHING. It was so small, sheets were thin and didn't look clean, the bathroom was so small that you could barely even brush your teeth, let alone shower! When I pointed out how different it looked in person, the front desk staff said he didn't see a difference because "it has a bed. what do you want?" Also we encountered two other people at the front desk during our 4 night stay and they were all awful and unfriendly. The location is great but there are MUCH nicer places in the area that actually live up to expectations. DO NOT STAY here.

The Grand Bazaar is a 10-minute walk, the tram, bus and railway stations are all within walking distance, and the Beyoglu district with its nightlife and cultural venues lies about 3 km away by public transport. Ataturk International Airport is roughly 14 km from the hotel and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport some 50 km.

The 10 carpeted rooms are appointed with a double bed, air conditioning, central heating and a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and bathrobes.
