Erboy Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Erboy Hotel and would especially like to thank Burak, Fuat and Menderes. They were always extremely friendly, helpful and attentive, and really made us feel welcome. Their personal approach and genuine hospitality gave us a warm, almost home-like feeling throughout our stay. A hotel can have nice rooms and a great location, but in the end, it is the people who make the real difference. Burak, Fuat and Menderes certainly did that for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always focused on making sure we had a great experience. Erboy Hotel is a very nice hotel, but people like Burak, Fuat and Menderes are what make it truly special. They are a real credit to the hotel, and definitely one of the reasons we would love to come back. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality!

Very Disappointing Experience I’ve visited Turkey many times and always stayed at Romance Hotel, where the service has been impeccable. Unfortunately, it was fully booked for my dates, so I booked Erboy Hotel instead as it was in the same area. Sadly, the experience was extremely disappointing. The staff were unhelpful and offered no assistance, even when they could clearly see me struggling with my children’s pram. The hotel also wasn’t particularly clean. We had asked for breakfast to be packed for our final day, but our request was completely ignored. This was especially upsetting as my children were hungry and I’m diabetic, so having breakfast was genuinely important for me. The staff’s attitude was also disappointing. Hearing them chatting in their own language around us, combined with the way we were treated, felt disrespectful and made us feel unwelcome. Having experienced such wonderful Turkish hospitality elsewhere, this was a huge let-down. Poor service, poor hospitality and definitely not somewhere I would recommend even if it was the last hotel on earth. 😏

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Erboy and it ended up being the perfect base for exploring Istanbul. The location couldn’t be better. It’s very close to the Istanbul Tram T1 Line and Eminönü Ferry Terminal, and you can easily walk to some of Istanbul’s most famous sites like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, and Süleymaniye Mosque. What really made the stay special was the staff. Everyone—from the front desk to housekeeping, the restaurant team, and the shuttle drivers—was warm, welcoming, and helpful. My room was cleaned every day and always felt fresh and tidy when I came back after long days exploring the city. During my first couple of days, I was struggling with jet lag, so the hotel’s room service and restaurant were a lifesaver. The food was very good and breakfast had a great variety. The airport transfers arranged by the hotel were also perfectly on time and very comfortable both ways. Overall, the value is excellent considering the location, service, and quality. I would absolutely stay here again.
