Beautiful hotel, but service does not match the 5-star standard The Stanhope Hotel Brussels is very beautiful and elegant. The 24-hour reception is extremely useful, especially if guests have evening plans that run late. However, the attitude and professionalism of the staff absolutely do not match the standards of a 5-star hotel. Internal communication is lacking, and the way guests are treated during check-in and check-out is far from acceptable for a luxury establishment.
Beautiful hotel but I would expect complimentary water in the room for a 5* Hotel. I was charged €6 per bottle (0.5ml). Outrageous!! And when pointed out to the receptionist, she said I know it's not fair and shrugged her shoulders. That's not the service from a 5 star hotel!

This is a fantastic hotel in North Brussels. A very high premium hotel but is a good price. The receptionist and concierge were very helpful upon my arrival give me full detail details of the location how to navigate the area of Brussels. My room is incredibly spacious with a separate toilet from the bathroom. Bed was extremely comfortable and the food was fantastic. There are no there are lots of eater places just outside the hotel should you not wish to dine there.
