Very friendly and professional staff. The concierge team helped us personalize our stay in Kyoto, including arranging a private driver for a wonderful day trip to Uji and Wazuka. Sustainability and eco-consciousness are thoughtfully incorporated throughout the hotel, which we really appreciated. A special mention goes to Saki, the Kids Club team leader, who was absolutely incredible—our kids adored her and had such a lovely time. The breakfast buffet has a beautiful, fresh and zen atmosphere, and the rooms are modern, spotless and designed in calming earth tones that create a wonderful sense of tranquility. The bar is also excellent, with the opportunity to sample a selection of Japanese whiskies. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful hotel with thoughtful service and a strong focus on sustainability. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here in the early spring and the staff are incredible. Extremely welcoming. The hotel is very zen, food is fantastic (especially room service) and the rooms are phenomenal. We had a courtyard view room and loved the property. It’s a very central location and easy to navigate Kyoto from there! The spa is the highlight of property. Very much recommend.
