Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden

We stayed here for 5 nights during our visit to Dresden. Everything was amazing. The room was large/spacious and incredibly clean (and I am a clean freak) and location was incredible. I was so surprised when I realized how close we were to everything. There are only a handful of hotels I have visited that I would return to and this is definitely one of them. The cost of this hotel compared to the value you get is 10/10 especially comparing to the rest of the "4/5 star" hotels we stayed in during the rest of our trip to Germany/France.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden. The location is exceptional—perfectly situated within easy walking distance of Dresden’s most important historic and cultural attractions. The entire staff was warm, professional, and attentive, but Mario, the concierge, deserves special recognition. He went above and beyond to make our visit memorable, assisting us with arrangements and ensuring that every detail of our stay was handled with genuine care. Claudia, our excellent private tour guide, was equally extraordinary. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and thoughtful attention to our interests greatly enriched our time in Dresden, Meissen, and Leipzig. Both Mario and Claudia went far beyond what was expected and made our experience truly special. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean, quiet, and very comfortable, with a beautiful, luxurious bathroom. Every detail reflected the elegance and high standards of the hotel. Dinner at Kastenmeiers was another highlight. The food was outstanding, and the service made the evening especially memorable. Finn, the sommelier, provided wonderful recommendations, and our server, Robin, was attentive, engaging, and exceptional. His tableside preparation of Crêpes Suzette was both delicious and a delightful ending to a wonderful meal. From the beautiful accommodations and outstanding location to the exceptional food and extraordinary personal service, our stay exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden and would be delighted to return.
