Best Western Macrander Hotel Dresden

The rooms, services and location is awesome. Only thing to keep in mind, you have to pay extra for using pool and sauna. Additionally, pool and sauna are located in the next hotel (Courtyard by Marriot). Also, for breakfast you need to go to the next hotel, but that’s okay, they have a good variety and choices in breakfast. They have service only until evening, but for emergencies you can go to the next hotel where you have reception and services 24x7

Stayed there on a MyDays getaway for two nights. The room was spacious, quiet and impeccably clean, the staff was all helpful and friendly. You are able to use the sauna, pool and gym at the Marriott next door for 10€ a day, but we were too beat from walking around (What a city!!! Fabulous!) to try them out. Breakfast buffet was also one of the best we've ever had in our travels. If we go back to Dresden, (which I plan on) I won't take a chance on anything else, we will stay here again. Parking was also a nice secured garage. It was a bit further away from the good stuff, but other than graffiti everywhere on the other buildings around, I don't think it's a bad neighborhood, and it was a short trip downtown.

Very nice and clean hotel in a decent part of the town, with a train station and street car stop both less than a 10 minute walk away. Also, the staff here are the best. I accidentally left some clothes behind without realizing when I left the hotel, and they helped me by shipping them back to my address in the US (and the shipping price was not that terrible) !
