Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima

We stayed here during our honeymoon as a little break from traveling in our campervan, and honestly chose this hotel on a whim because it looked beautiful and was a great price. It ended up being one of the best decisions of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming. They even surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a room with an ocean view, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning—very upscale, peaceful, and beautifully designed. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the bathhouse due to our tattoos, which we completely understand and respect, but the hotel made up for it by providing amazing bath salts so we could enjoy a relaxing soak privately in our room. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we had one of the best sleeps of our entire trip. Breakfast was also a highlight—the Japanese-style breakfast was delicious! 和朝食はとても美味しかったです Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt well taken care of, relaxed, and genuinely happy we chose this hotel. We would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, this is a good hotel. Rooms and hard products in general are dated but they’re kept clean. Service is good. The location isn’t very convenient besides the Miyajima ferry service departing from the hotel but most rooms come with a view. Their public path isn’t free (free for me as a platinum member) and isn’t big enough. I tried a couple of restaurants on site and they were good as well.

I had a pleasant stay at Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima. The property does feel a bit dated in places, but everything was well maintained and that made it easy to settle in. Service was solid throughout my visit, and having the Miyajima ferry depart from the hotel is a nice plus if that’s part of your plan. Overall, a comfortable and reliable option.
