Four Points by Sheraton Seoul, Guro

The area is a bit further than others to reach the city center, but still just 5 min walk to the metro line 9. I arrived in the early morning, and the front desk was very kind to let me check in early at 12. The room was big enough, with good ventilation and space, maybe just the sink in the bathroom was quite low. I booked a package with breakfast, and I really enjoyed the food variety, ranging from local food to more western options. Being Italian, I still enjoyed even the pizza for breakfast, and there are two different coffee beans to select from the coffee machine. Just outside the hotel, there is a Olive young, which is quite convenient, and the area nearby has several shops and restaurants.

Dear Management, I would like to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay, particularly the level of service experienced at your breakfast restaurant. I understand that the property and facilities are still relatively new, and I do have further comments regarding the rooms and facilities. However, what disappointed me most was the attitude and hospitality shown during breakfast on the second day of my stay. At approximately 10:10 AM, I was having breakfast with my family and was in the middle of feeding my toddler when your restaurant manager approached us and made us feel as though we had to leave immediately because breakfast service was ending. I fully understand that every hotel has designated breakfast operating hours. However, there is a significant difference between politely informing guests that the buffet is closing and practically rushing a family out while a parent is visibly feeding a small child. The urgency and manner in which this was handled were extremely unpleasant and embarrassing. It honestly felt as though we were being rushed to board a flight that was about to take off, rather than having breakfast at a hotel where hospitality and guest comfort should be fundamental. For a property that is still new and establishing its reputation, this is particularly concerning. Beautiful rooms and new facilities can certainly create a good first impression, but hospitality is ultimately defined by how guests are treated. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor impression. I hope the management will seriously review this incident and provide proper guidance and hospitality training to the restaurant team, particularly those in managerial positions. Guests should never be made to feel embarrassed or unwelcome over something that could have been handled with basic courtesy and professionalism. Thank you.

So, the rooms are just basic. There is a weird smell in the room. I thought it was the carpet, but I think it's coming from the bathroom drains. The smell of sulphur and something else weird. The room itself is well insulated and bit stuffy even with the window opened.The buffet at the hotel was very good. I would suggest fresh juice or expand the beverage selection. Just staying for a night, so it's doable.
