Boat tour through the emerald gorge of Martvili Canyon

Martvili Canyon, in western Georgia, is a narrow gorge where turquoise water runs between rock walls. The boat moves slowly along the channel, with mossy rock, thin waterfalls and green cover all around. The coolness of the canyon and its echoing quiet create a distinct atmosphere.

Reaching the canyon may involve walking and steps, so wear non-slip shoes. Bring a spare top in case of spray and a waterproof cover for your camera. It is cooler inside the canyon than outside.
