Chocolate Hills panoramic viewpoint

In the interior of Bohol, hundreds of rounded, grass-covered hills rise from the plain and line up to the horizon. From the viewpoint, the hills form something like a pattern. In the dry season the grass turns brown, which gives them their name, while in the green season the view takes on a very different tone.

The climb to the viewing deck is a few steps and a short walk. The midday sun is harsh, so carry a hat and water. Early morning and the hour before sunset give better light for photographs.
