Mercure Arbat Moscow

Great hotel with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. The location is excellent— next to the metro station and Arbat street, making it easy to get around and find places to eat or shop. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only small downside was that after I requested an iron and ironing board, housekeeping took them away the next day during room cleaning. All hotels I stayed at before usually let guests keep them for the rest of their stay, so it was a little inconvenient to ask for them again. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice and clean central hotel, with great breakfast. Located right next to the metro. Polite and kind staff. A few small suggestions though: at breakfast, the staff literally snatches your plates from you, even if you haven't finished your meal yet. It's supposed to mean a good service, but for us it was too much. Also, unfortunately, many guests don't know how to use their cellphones at breakfast room: they use loudspeakers all the time. I've never seen that in any other hotel. Please, make sure they know how to behave in public places. Maybe a "no loudspeaker" sigh would be a good idea. Otherwise it was awesome. Merci.

Take care of your belongings – the hotel will not support you. I lost my AirPods in the hotel room, and the way the staff handled the situation was extremely disappointing. When I went to the Kremlin, I received an Apple notification that my AirPods were left behind at the hotel. I immediately informed them and was told they would check after the room was cleaned. After multiple follow-ups, the Reservation Manager simply said, “Sorry, it’s lost, we cannot help.” If the AirPods were left inside the hotel room, how can they go missing outside the property? When I returned to the hotel and showed the manager that the AirPods’ location had updated to Khimki, there was still no response, accountability, or willingness to investigate. This clearly raises concern about safety and integrity. Very poor service and unprofessional attitude. I would never recommend staying at this hotel with family.
