W Las Vegas

We chose the W Las Vegas because I’m very picky about cleanliness, and it did not disappoint. The room was clean, modern, and simple, without a lot of places for dust or bugs to hide. The front desk staff was friendly and even found us a room early, which made check-in much easier. The valet and bell staff were also welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, there were a few things that took away from the experience. The minibar and coffee area use sensors, so you’re charged if you move certain items, which felt a little excessive. I understand minibar prices are always high, but paying around $10 for a bottle of water and $11 for a Kit Kat at the hotel shops is hard to justify. Since the W and Mandalay Bay are connected and most of the convenience stores are owned by the same property, there aren’t many affordable alternatives for drinks or snacks. Another disappointment was trying to reach the front desk. The phones often weren’t answered, and when they were, the hold times were much longer than expected. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff we interacted with in person were great. I just wish the prices for basic items were more reasonable and the front desk was easier to reach.

This is a very nice Hotel for anyone staying in Las Vegas. The rooms are clean and cozy, and is connected to a ton of other buildings meaning you have a lot of activities and restaurants in walking distance. Room service is average (they make beds, replace towels, and organize your stuff). While they do have a lot of nice restaurants and activities near them, they do lack in sufficient breakfast choices. There is a fun waterpark just a 5 minute walk away and a ton of access to the rest of the Las Vegas strip. Decent room pricing and beautiful view of the city also makes this a go to pick for anyone hoping to enjoy the city and what it has to offer.
