The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver

We had a great stay. We had travel issues and had booked more nights, they were very accommodating and didn't charge us for the night we couldn't get there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the location right on the seawall. Better yet they provided free bikes in the morning and we were able to ride all through Stanley Park. Was a great experience and I would certainly stay there again!

A lovely hotel overall with great facilities, excellent locations and clean comfortable rooms. We were given a complementary room upgrade upon arrival and made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was high quality and very tasty. Our servers couldn’t do enough and shared useful local knowledge about what places we might like to visit on our trip. The staff really went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our time at the hotel.

We are highly dedicated Mariotte customers and found the Westin very disappointing. Booked a 3 night stay in the Junior Suite (no discounts), upon check-in discovered the Marriott website, while showing the harbor in their room pictures, the Junior Suite is either Harbor or Garden view determined at check-in. Full on push back by management as I expressed my frustration. We would have reserved "harbor" if the description for the Junior Suite had been accurate and not misleading .. suggested edit for your website Marriott, "your suite may either have a harbor or garden view" ... When it comes to the room, our RV has more bathroom space then the "suite," the furnishings are showing their age, its time to upgrade their TV system (its is not up to US Mariotte standards) and our garden view .. well the pictures show our garden view, the roofs of the conference center. While they offered to change our room on the next day, we have booked outings and adventures and we decided the major inconvenience of having to return to the hotel midday would distract from our enjoyment of discovering Vancouver. Two positives are that it is directly next to Stanley Park and the wait staff in the restaurants. Over priced for the quality.
