The Okura Prestige Bangkok

Okura Prestige was a highlight of my visit to Bangkok! Clean, great and walkable location, excellent service. The rooftop infinity pool was not short of incredible architectural views. The breakfast was top notch, pristinely clean, and delicious. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful and white glove. I also had a massage at the hotel spa and was exceptionally taken care of. The whole experience was remarkable. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Our stay at The Okura Prestige Bangkok was nothing short of exceptional. Having stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, we can confidently say this hotel has truly set the benchmark for what genuine luxury hospitality should be. The location is fantastic, with a 24 hour 7-11 within the building and direct indoor access to the BTS station and a covered walkway to Central Embassy, making it incredibly convenient to get around while staying out of Bangkok’s heat, rain & traffic. What really made our stay unforgettable, however, was the people. Every single staff member we encountered—from the front desk, concierge, and housekeeping to the restaurant and Club Lounge teams—was consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The level of service never wavered throughout our stay. It was also wonderful to see the General Manager regularly walking the property and helping out when it’s busy and chatting with guests (ourselves included), which speaks volumes about the hotel’s culture and commitment to guest experience. The dining experience throughout the hotel was equally impressive. Breakfast was either an extensive buffet featuring high-quality ingredients, an outstanding selection of freshly baked pastries, or the option of a beautifully prepared Japanese breakfast. We also thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon refreshments served in the Club Lounge, which were thoughtfully curated and of high standard. Another standout was the bed. It was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed a fantastic night’s sleep every single night even though the rooms are a little dated (they are very clean and tidy though). The attention to detail, professionalism, and sincere hospitality exceeded our expectations and ticked every box of what you would hope for from a luxury hotel. It’s rare to find a property where every team member delivers such consistently outstanding service. We had an amazing stay and cannot recommend The Okura Prestige Bangkok highly enough. A great hotel with good service and amenities in arguably the most central location of BK and a stones throw from Phloem Chit station. My only gripe was no doorman upon arrival which led to me being a bit chaotic with luggage and leaving my passport in the car, which I did manage to get back. I also like that the hotel has the pool open until 10om unlike others (Chatrium etc.) and has a decent gym. Other than that, an excellent service which is typical of Thai hospitality. I would recommend this hotel.
