Steigenberger Resort Achti

We are just finishing our 4‑day stay at the hotel, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to book here. The hotel is located close enough to the temples, yet tucked away in a quiet corner on the Nile River shore. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a huge variety of food to suit all tastes. The egg station served delicious omelets and scrambled eggs. The only thing we missed was pita bread in the assortment. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They’re not the largest, but spacious enough. We booked a twin room with enough space to add an extra bed for our child. The bathroom was super comfortable, with plenty of amenities. I especially appreciated the closet space, big enough to hold clothes for three people. Best of all was our river‑view balcony — waking up to the Nile is simply amazing. A few highlights: - Everything is spotless. Even the pool mattress covers are constantly washed, something I’ve never seen before. - Loved seeing the staff enjoying the breakfast buffet alongside guests. Very nice consideration. - Special thanks to Catherine at the front desk for being so helpful, friendly, and always greeting us with a beautiful smile. - The Middle Eastern restaurant food was outstanding. - The friendliness of the staff everywhere truly enhanced our holiday. - The lifeguard at the Nile pool was always attentive, helping with towels and umbrellas. - I really appreciate having small dishes at the breakfast buffet, so people don’t take more food than what they can eat and leave it on the table. I appreciate hotels that care about food waste and teach travelers how to behave responsibly. We will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

I had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Hotel Luxor Achti. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, excellent location, and very friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was helpful and made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank you to Youstina at the reception, who was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout my entire stay. She always had a friendly smile and was ready to assist with anything I needed. Her excellent attitude and hospitality truly made a difference. Thank you to the whole team for the great experience. We had a really lovely stay here and were struck immediately by the warmth of the hospitality on check-in. Mustafa and Yamil were absolutely wonderful — Mustafa in particular was exceptional and surprised us with a complimentary upgrade, which was completely unexpected and hugely appreciated. Both of them genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had a special experience from the very start. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and ours opened out onto a large balcony with fantastic views over the Nile — a real highlight and a beautiful way to start and end the day. While the interior design is a little dated in places, this is more than made up for by the kindness, professionalism and generosity of the staff. We didn’t eat or drink at the hotel during our stay, so can’t comment on the food, but there are numerous outlets on site, giving guests plenty of choice. Overall, a very positive experience defined by exceptional hospitality and a genuinely warm welcome. We’d happily return.
