Sporthotel Achensee

Very nice short stay at this kinder hotel, wish we had been able to stay longer, but it was a quick trip over spring break. Very smooth, check-in process and communication during our stay and over ‎WhatsApp and using the hotel app. The food area was compact, but the quality was very good. Honestly, we probably didn’t need to order off the menu. The buffet was great. We felt OK to let our child run around unsupervised inside and outside the property at the kids play area. Clientele is mostly appears to be local families from central Europe with younger children of age. I don’t think the kids area would be particularly exciting for kids over 10 or so. Stables, as well as are very nice, everyone is great trail ride, which was wonderful. Very good and age-appropriate for my child. Very nice spa and sauna area as well, the pool area is again compact, but really nice and well maintained as an adult relaxation area. No complaints and would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

We just stayed in this hotel for the second time for a fall vacation. I love the area, there’s so much to do. The staff at the hotel is so friendly. The facilities are great. As a single mom the concept of a family hotel with kids club is extra valuable. My daughter loved the kids club (and she didn’t even speak German or English) so I didn’t need to feel guilty for doing something for myself. The horses are also very sweet. We rented bikes. Everyone has been so helpful and we will definitely be back again.
