I had such a wonderful experience at the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and personable from the moment I arrived. The front desk team was cheerful and helpful, and any questions or requests were handled promptly and professionally. The level of service really stood out and made my stay feel easy and enjoyable. It’s clear the team genuinely cares about creating a positive experience for their guests. I would happily stay here again!

Booked a room for a conference I was attending for work well in advance so I got a decent price. Showed up for my stay and they must have over booked as they cancelled my room. Likely because they were able to charge someone else more for the room. Showed them my confirmation email, reservation number and confirmation in the app. They didn't care, sending me scrambling for another hotel, far from the conference center. I've lost all faith in Sheraton and will not trust that they'll keep my reservation. Time to look for a new hotel rewards plan.
Rooms feel a bit tired honestly. The staff is super friendly and helpful though. The upstairs lounge is fine (if you get access to it) but not spectacular and the breakfast closes early (at 9). In some destinations the Sheraton brand feels refined and luxurious - but this one doesn't live up to its esteemed pedigree.
