Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok

Our stay from June 6 2026 to June 10 2026 was exemplary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a smiling doorman, and then Orripin, who checked us in and arranged a courtesy room for use as ours was being prepared. The little one in our party enjoyed her lotus folding session at the Sala with James from the concierge team, while we parked ourselves nearby for a drink, served by the polite and friendly staff at the bar. Our suite was comfortable and spotless, the towels plush and shower water pressure was good. Complimentary sparking wine, a selection of Thai desserts and a tray of fruits delivered were delivered to our suite which was nice of the hotel. We found the butler service very useful, where we could call for complimentary round-the-clock non-alcoholic drinks to be sent to us. We spent some evenings listening to the pianists play at the Living Room lounge during cocktail hour, and were served by many enthusiastic staff including Piyapong & Michael. While MRT/ BTS/ Terminal 21 facilities were located nearby, we preferred not to use any of these, although they were useful to have at hand just in case. We liked Sheraton Grande so much we ordered room service daily - on one occasion, when our pizza was delayed, staff followed up with a call to check if it still tasted fine and offered to send a replacement. It was a nice gesture which we politely declined as I had already finished half of it. They followed up again with an apology note for the late delivery after. For daily breakfast, we had a choice between Rossini and The Orchid Room, but spent our mornings mostly in the latter due to the vastly larger selection available (Thai boat noodles, different Korean stews, Japanese miso soup, Chinese congee, cold cuts etc). The staff at Sheraton Grande have been clearly been very well-trained in terms of service and professionalism (much better than even some senior Singapore Airlines cabin crew we’ve recently encountered in Business) - they made our stay a most enjoyable experience and we look forward to our next trip here.

Another exceptional stay at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit! After more than 15 years away, it truly felt like coming home. Check in was seamless, with excellent recognition of my Marriott Bonvoy status, making me feel valued. Our room was comfortable, well maintained, and thoughtfully appointed, with the added touch of Segafredo coffee that I greatly appreciated. Despite its age, the hotel is impeccably maintained and continues to deliver a personalised, quality guest experience that rivals newer luxury properties. The hotel airport transfer was equally impressive, with a pristine vehicle, a courteous driver and a swift journey of under 25 minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

In July 2026, I made my first trip to Thailand and Bangkok. I was attending a wedding at a different location in the city but arrived a week earlier to enjoy the city on my own. After watching many YouTube videos and reading various reviews of hotels, I decided to go with Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. I booked a 1 King room for my stay (~$250 per night). Didn't get a complimentary upgrade but wonderful corner room (spacious) with view of the city. Prior to starting my stay, I had a special status offer with my company that allowed me to be a Platinum Elite member. I took advantage of this at the hotel. One of my pics has the elite benefits listed. Breakfast at Rossini's (executive breakfast) is definitely preferred since you get 1 hot item and access to the buffet. I also used the complimentary laundry service and butler service. In addition to the above, I had complimentary cocktails at The Living Room (jazz club, live music!). Other on-site amenities I used were the gym (fitness trainers on-site), pool side bar (for snacks/drinks offered complimentary during hotel maintenance), the spa (first Thai massage, wonderful experience; also got a discount due to elite status), and the Basil restaurant (complimentary leaf wrap appetizer for guests). There's also a helpful concierge desk in the lobby. The location was amazing for this hotel. It was within walking distance to the Asok BTS station and Terminal 21 mall. The walk to the station was also fully covered with direct access to the hotel. A great central spot in Sukhumvit for any travels within Bangkok. The hotel does offer airport transfer options or even car options if going to a further out spot, but the prices were a little too expensive for me, especially as a solo traveler. The service was amazing at all levels, from the front desk, to restaurant staff, and the butler service. After informing the staff I was vegetarian, they went above and beyond to accommodate me with options during breakfast and during the cocktail hour (veg appetizers). They also anticipated my needs in the future, which was very thoughtful. Overall, I was very impressed with the service and amenities offered at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. Location was amazing as a jumping off point anywhere in Bangkok. The staff were very attentive to my needs and anticipated them in the future. The amount of extra perks as an elite member also went a long way with making it a wonderful experience overall. Next time I visit Bangkok, I will certainly consider returning to this hotel!
