Scandic The Mayor

Great location to train station but quiet rooms, nicely renovated and beautifully decorated. Only stayed one night but it was beautiful. Really recommend getting the breakfast included. It was such a delicious spread of local and fresh produce, a waffle station, yoghurt, chia, eggs, sausage bacon, cheese and yummy bread.. truly something for everyone!

Tried the mayor for the first time. Usually we stay at a different Scandic. But where lucky to get newly renovated rooms and wow. Very nice. The service from Anna in the reception was excellent she went beyond to help us get some softer pillows. We sat in the bar and did a puzzle. The breakfast was perfect had everything you need and very clean and good. If I would say anything it would be the shower the pressure was not that great. And every morning construction outside. Other then that perfect and will definitely be back soon.

We stayed here for two nights in March 2026. The room was very good, clean and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfast here was excellent with multiple options, As a vegetarian, you are well catered for too. The service at the front desk is extremely friendly and I would have no hesitation recommending this to visitors to Aarhus.
