LOTTE Hotel Jeju

Hi, it was our 2nd time visiting Lotte Hotel Jeju & their service was next level. My family & I had the best experience ever here!! They speak both Korean and English which helped. I must say Rachel who helped us needs to be promoted as manager if she isn’t already!! The room was spacious, elegant and clean. The whole resort is very nice and well maintained. The pool and jacuzzi are nice! We would definitely recommend to all of our friends and family. There’s access to the beach down below but make sure you’re ok to walk up and down some steps as it can be steep. Last but not least, I highly recommend their breakfast buffet…. I think it is 2nd best compared to The Conrad in Seoul’s Breakfast Buffet. Can’t wait to go back again!! Thank you Lotte Hotel Jeju!

I have stayed in many 5-star hotels around the world, and this is by far the worst 5-star hotel experience I have ever had. The only positive thing I can say about the staff is that they smile. Unfortunately, that smile feels superficial, because there is no genuine willingness to help guests. Throughout my stay, I experienced a complete lack of empathy, service, and attention to customer needs. The room had an unpleasant smell from the moment I arrived. I requested a room change and was told the hotel was fully booked, despite the obvious availability of multiple rooms throughout the property. Housekeeping was particularly disappointing. I happened to be in the room while it was being cleaned, and I had to ask the housekeeper to perform basic tasks that should have been done automatically, including making the bed properly. As I was suffering from a cold, I specifically requested that my pillow be changed, but this was never done. To make matters worse, water was left on the bathroom floor after cleaning, creating a serious slipping hazard. I nearly fell because of it. I am also staying here for business purposes. During the evening concerts, the noise is so loud that I have to wear a headset for my meetings, even with the balcony doors closed, because the room is not properly soundproofed. When I went to the reception desk seeking assistance in finding a doctor or a pharmacy, I was dismissed rather than helped. In a hotel that claims to offer 5-star service, this level of indifference is simply unacceptable. A 5-star hotel is not defined by its facilities alone, but by its service. Unfortunately, this hotel fails where it matters most. I have never experienced such poor service in a property of this category, and I would not recommend it.

It’s one of the oldest five star resorts in Jeju. Classy (you can tell the resort is old tho) and we simply loved the massive outdoor heated pool and jacuzzis! You can choose breakfast buffet or brunch buffet with a bit of charge at the reception . We chose the brunch buffet and it came with high quality sashimi, steak, Chinese, and others. One downside, no Apple Pay.. they should improve their payment system 😂
