ibis Ouarzazate Centre

We stayed at this ibis for several nights. Considering the price–quality ratio, I would say it is the best option for Morocco. Finding competent, well-trained staff and consistently reliable services—such as parking, a bar, a restaurant offering more than just traditional food, and clean, simple rooms without excessive decoration, along with 24-hour reception support—is not something to take for granted. If this is what you are looking for, this hotel delivers exactly that. The only downside is a nearby club that, on some nights, plays music and hosts parties until around 4 a.m. However, overall, it is a proper hotel in the true sense of the word, unlike some other places that try to enter the hospitality industry without meeting basic standards.

We’ve stayed at the Ibis in Ouarzazate for four years in a row during our motorcycle trips, and it consistently delivers. It’s exactly what you’d expect: affordable, clean, friendly, and always available. Ironically, it’s always been a welcome oasis for us, offering normality and respite on long journeys. On our most recent visit, a group member left a personal item behind, and the manager went above and beyond to send it back internationally. It’s gestures like that which make it easy to give them a positive review!

This property felt more like a basic, no-frills motel. We stayed here as part of a tour group. The room was quite small, and the shower door leaked, causing water to spill onto the floor. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered limited options. Additionally, communication was challenging as none of the staff spoke English.
