Hotel Imperial

Ok, let’s start with positive- Rooms are big and with is more important CLEAN!!Staff is helping with your questions , location is great, great view. Now let’s do negative- this is place to help people with some kind of health issues, more oriented for older patients. The Hotel is located on high hill with make older people very difficult to access. If want to visit city, they offer you free bus or funicular with is great but to get it you need to walk about 100 meters on the hill!!! I don’t know why 5star hotel can’t offer like every hours small shuttle to the city??? It’s not a big expense but make more convenient for people.They have big pool, 2 jacuzzi, sauna, but don’t know why, only one jacuzzi was working for 15 minutes every hour??? When we asked why, the answer was - it’s automatic and we can do nothing. So if you want to use the jacuzzi, you need to be lucky get them when is working and is free of other people.Second jacuzzi was never working with make big disappointing. Other big negative- if you come in summer like we come, be prepare- room has no AC!!! Day- night- hot inside and nothing will help, some people get lucky and received fan , but staff has just few of them for all hotel!All around this is far away from 5 star hotel, that why I give only 2 star, and don’t know more like I will not recommend it.

I did not know what to expect after reading so many mixed reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was fantastic and everyone, I would say 99 percent of hotel personnel, were kind and accommodating, and some were enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel is outdated, however, it is clean and well maintained. The food was outstanding for a buffet style and the rotation throughout the week kept things interesting with different choices for every day of the week. That said, I think the Hotel has lots of potential to excel among other top-tier hotels around the area. For example, adding an AC to the rooms would definitely help, as it does get hot in the rooms during the hottest days. Small tip is to choose the city view rooms because that's the side where the sun sets, so those rooms stay cooler throughout the day. Also, the hotel has a fantastic pool and there are some loungers inside the pool, however, it would have been nice to have some loungers outside the pool, as there is so much unused space around the pool and the hotel in general. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay at Hotel Imperial in Prague. The building itself is beautiful—classic Art Deco design that gives the whole place a unique, high-end feel. The staff were very accommodating and professional, and most people spoke English fluently, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is great, and once you step off public transport and start walking, Prague is absolutely stunning—clean streets, historic architecture, and an incredible atmosphere. The fashion and overall style of the city really stand out too. One cool highlight is the nearby casino tied to the Casino Royale James Bond vibe, which adds a fun, cinematic feel to the experience. Overall, an incredible stay in an unforgettable city. Would definitely come back.
