Grand Hotel River Park, a Luxury Collection Hotel

Visitor to Bratislava you need a nice hotel. This one is a nice hotel. I would consider one of the better hotels that I stayed in Europe. It is a short distance from the historic City center or if you prefer to ride trains, the train stations. The tram stops are short distance from the hotels entrance. There is a park next to the hotel. Several bars or dining establishments, bookstore, some shopping and a mini supermarket All adjacent to this hotel. Because it's on the riverfront you can walk the riverfront or watch others do so. The breakfast experiences quite good. The best part is you can order eggs at your table the way you like them fried, omelette you name it. Pancakes can also be ordered at the table. Overall I would rate my stay here as very good. I would likely stay here again when in the area.

The Grand Hotel River Park was perfect in every way from the moment we first stepped through the door. The staff was as kind and friendly as any we have encountered anywhere! The setting along the river is fantastic and an easy 15-minute walk to the city center. We would highly recommend this first class hotel on a visit to to the lovely city of Bratislava!

I stayed at the Grand Hotel River Park and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is about a 40-minute ride from Vienna International Airport (VIE). I personally took an Uber and while it ultimately worked out fine, be aware that some Uber drivers may give you a bit of a hard time, so patience helps. The hotel itself is a bit out of date, but it’s still nice and comfortable. On a pleasant day, you can walk into town and find shopping, nightlife, and plenty of dining options. If walking isn’t ideal, an Uber ride is quick and costs around $5, which is very convenient. The hotel offers a morning breakfast buffet with good food, and you can also order directly from the kitchen. I highly recommend the Belgian waffles. One standout feature of the room was the shower and tub, which are button-controlled. My two biggest issues were with the bathroom and toilet doors. Both are made of glass and tend to clash into each other when using the bathroom. Every time I opened one, I felt like I was about to crack the glass, which was stressful. I also noticed some stains or dirt residue on a few of the chairs and built-in furniture that seem to have accumulated over time. That said, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which helped balance out some of these drawbacks. Overall, it’s a decent stay with good service, though a refresh and a few design fixes would go a long way.
