Eurostars Marivent

The hotel has good potential - but it’s currently a building site and this should be made clear when booking!! The location is good - close to the town and the beach, but it is very uphill. The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you, all our requests were solved quickly. The complimentary water and apples were nice, and there was also a mini fridge /minibar in our room. In our first room, we had tea/coffee making facilities and a kettle. We had to move rooms due to being right next to the construction (see photo) and being woken up at 8am with a pneumatic drill on the first day, and our second room wasn’t quite as nice and didn’t have a kettle. We asked for one and it was provided, though no mugs and our tea/ coffee never got replenished?! We had to use paper cups from downstairs - again, not what you expect from a 4* hotel. We also didn’t have any balcony furniture in our second room. (We could have asked, but on a 4 night trip when we’d already moved rooms, we didn’t want to spend more time stood at reception complaining..) The rooms were lovely and bright though with great air conditioning. I can see this hotel having really good potential, but very poor from the top that a brand such as Eurostars would let this hotel still operate when there are literally builders walking round the place, cement buckets and balcony glass stacked up in the corridors, and extremely loud drilling noises to be heard all around the hotel and the pool area.

Everything was excellent. The hotel is in a great location and was exceptionally clean throughout our stay. Our room was always fresh and tidy, which felt so good. Breakfast was another highlight, with plenty of options to choose from. It really sets the tone for the day when you can start with a proper, enjoyable breakfast. The staff were very friendly-especially the lady overseeing breakfast, who was absolutely lovely. Although we didn’t get the chance to use all the facilities, such as the gym and pool, I’m sure they’re just as well maintained. Overall, a wonderful experience, I would definitely come back.

An absolute 5-star experience! The staff at reception are extremely kind and eager to help, and the cleanliness of the hotel is top-notch. You can really feel the effort the management puts into maintaining such high standards. The hotel is perfectly located and beautiful. Skipped breakfast this time due to specific allergies (dairy and beef/lamb/goat) and vegan fasting days. However, for travelers with allergies, having clear ingredient labels (if not already) on the buffet would make this hotel the ultimate destination. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality - had a fantastic time and would definitely return!
