Dar al Hossoun

We loved our stay. The hotel and gardens are amazingly beautiful. It feels like paradise when you enter. We stayed in Junior Suite Taroudant (room 17) which was gorgeous and tranquil. If you prefer quiet ask for a room away from the main pool/bar area. The heated pool was great to be able to swim in December. Breakfast was very good, a buffet of pastries, bread, fruit, cheese, juices etc and delicious jams plus a la carte for eggs and pancakes. The restaurant is expensive by Moroccan standards but the food is good, I especially recommend pre-ordering some Moroccan food. My only criticism is charging €5 for drinking water with dinner but after our first evening we brought our own bottled water and no one objected. For other meals we ate cheap and tasty street food in Taroudant, a town we grew to really like in our 5 days. The hammam treatment was fabulous and the massages good. The staff were wonderful, incredibly kind and helpful, even coming with us to a garage to sort a tyre repair! We hope to return.
