Comfort Inn & Suites

Great location and great staff. I have stayed here two times and the service has always stood out as exceptional. I want to shoutout Denecia for her service during my most recent stay. She provided a fast, friendly check in and seemed to be stationed at the desk 24/7. She was always friendly and always attentive. All staff at the hotel is very service-oriented and pleasant, but the rooms need to be more structurally attended to and inspected better. During my first stay at the hotel, which was roughly a year ago, I noticed a plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector in my room. I notified the front desk so that I would not be blamed for it, but it can definitely be off-putting. For my most recent stays, the room was cleaned very well. However there were some structural concerns, notably a fairly large crack in the paint/wallpaper of the right wall immediately visible after entering, and the top of the bathroom door was chipped. My room’s shower faucet was leaky, but I’m sure if I reported the leak to staff prior to my departure, they would promptly resolve it. I left a note about the faucet in the room upon my departure, so I can only hope it’s been fixed for the next guests. Overall though, the stay was quite nice, and I really enjoy the breakfast offerings

The room and location was great. I travel with a trailer so parking is important to me. The parking was easy and lots of space to easily turn around and park. The girl checking me in did not know how to do things. She just sat down and stopped helping me. After a couple minutes, I asked her what was happening and she said I could not pay using cash after being told by their corporate booking that I could do she just decided not to help me. I told her to get me the manager. She did nothing, the second time I told her I wanted a manager, she called someone and told them what happened. They walked her thru it and all was good. Check-in took about 30 minutes which is unacceptable and I never saw a manager. After that, it turned out good.

I travel all over the country for work and choose Comfort Inns when available and they've always been great. I chose to do the same here for work. I tried to extend my stay and was told there was no rooms available. Then got charged an extra $485 for an extension for a hotel I was no longer staying in. I have called multiple times, asked for receipts and left my info for them to contact me either through phone or email. The GM is always in "tomorrow at 9." and they still wont send me receipts. Shadiest Comfort Inn I've ever stayed at.
