Cala Ponte, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Had a beautiful stay at the Cala Ponte! The property is absolutely gorgeous and so well-maintained. Great location and easy to walk into town or the front desk can call you a tuk tuk (grazie, Paolo!) or a cab. Breakfast was great, as was the service! Our room was beautiful and had a lovely view of the pool. The staff was wonderful and attentive— Gianmario is such a kind and hard worker! Rita, Ivan, Rosangela all made our stay very memorable and hope to visit again in the future!

Our stay at Cala Ponte was exceptional, and what made it truly memorable was the people. We arrived after the airline lost all of our luggage, leaving our family stressed and uncomfortable. When I explained the situation to Alberto, the General Manager, I started to tell him that he was in a position to make us feel comfortable despite the circumstances. Before I could finish, he smiled and said, "It is my job." That moment perfectly captured who he is. Alberto has tremendous pride in the property, a genuine passion for hospitality, and an instinctive understanding of what guests need. He immediately helped us with the room we had requested and made us feel cared for from the moment we arrived. His professionalism, kindness, and emotional intelligence are truly exceptional. The reception team, especially Rosangelo and Luna, were equally outstanding. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuine. They consistently went above and beyond to help our family, and our toddler absolutely adored them. They made him feel so special, and their kindness is something we'll always remember. Domenico was also wonderful. What impressed us most was that this culture extended throughout the entire resort. Every employee we encountered genuinely seemed invested in creating an exceptional guest experience. The property itself is beautiful, and the pool is one of the best we've experienced. It's perfect for both adults and families, with a beach entry, large shallow areas, and plenty of space while still feeling private. The bell staff, Mirko, Luciano, and Gioele, were incredibly kind, especially with our son, who loved the golf carts. Maurizio at the pool provided outstanding service and always looked out for our son's safety. Ilaria made dinner with a toddler feel effortless, while Ivan, Rita, and Aka made breakfast one of the highlights of our stay by treating our son like a little prince. Mirko at the bar embodied the spirit of Cala Ponte with simple, genuine acts of kindness that made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast was exceptional, and the restaurant was far better than what you typically expect from a hotel. Cala Ponte is also an excellent base for exploring Puglia while returning each evening to a true full-service resort. As longtime Marriott Bonvoy members who have held both Platinum Elite and Ambassador Elite status, we've stayed at many Marriott properties around the world. Cala Ponte stands out not only for its beautiful property but, more importantly, for its extraordinary people. Alberto has built a remarkable culture, and Rosangelo, Luna, and the entire team made this one of the most enjoyable hotel stays our family has ever had. We cannot wait to return.
