Best Western Plus Hotel Kungens Kurva

I don’t generally write hotel reviews or leave negative comments, but this is my second night here, and I would like to share my experience so far. I still have two more nights remaining. 1. The room: The rooms are a bit noisy due to the air conditioning system. The room is also quite small, and there is no fridge or iron available. When you need something, you are expected to go downstairs and collect it yourself. For a 4-star hotel, this is below my expectations. 2. Basic amenities: Unfortunately, there has been no shampoo or body wash available in my room for the past two days. When I asked about it, I was told to go downstairs and collect it myself. However, when I went downstairs, I was told that these items were not available and that I would have to wait another day. As a result, I had to shower using hand wash. 3. Parking: Parking is not free, although I understand that this is probably normal for this city. 4. Staff: The staff members are helpful, friendly, and positive. However, it seems that the hotel may need more staff to provide the level of service expected from a 4-star hotel. 5. Room cleaning: Room cleaning is apparently provided only every third day. In my opinion, for a 4-star hotel, housekeeping should be provided daily or at least every second day. Overall, unfortunately, the reality has not matched my expectations. I still have two more nights to stay, but based on my experience so far, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

It was not a pleasant stay by any means. From the moment we arrived, some members of the staff came across as somewhat standoffish during the check-in process, which unfortunately created a disappointing first impression. To make matters worse, there was a persistent noise issue in our room. Despite our efforts, we were unable to determine where it was coming from, and it significantly affected both our comfort and overall experience during the stay. Would I recommend this hotel? Perhaps, if your expectations are limited to a property carrying a four-star designation with service that feels largely unremarkable. However, when I travel, I value genuine hospitality, attentiveness, and a sense that guests are truly welcomed. Unfortunately, those qualities felt noticeably absent throughout much of this stay.
