Best Western Hôtel le Schoenenbourg

Lovely modern hotel, very well designed with a feeling of space and light. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast out on the terrace was a delight on a warm sunny morning. Service was super friendly and there is a proper and easy access safe garage location to store and charge bikes. Clean and spacious saunas and steam room. A quiet location on the edge of town with an easy walk into the centre. All in all a great base to explore the surrounding area.

Half of the hotel is renovated and second half is not. It’s a typical best western hotel where every little thing is costing extra money. The staff has some very nice people but half of the staff is very rude and doesn’t seem to care about the customer experience. I don’t understand why certain people have to be that rude to paying customers. Breakfast was expensive and ok, nothing fancy. Walls are paper thin, so anyother guest opening or closing a door will shake the room. Spa and pool was a nice touch.
