Bakubung Bush Lodge

Highly recommend this lodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and efficient—check-in took less than 10 minutes. We booked a spa treatment and were blown away by the beautiful, relaxing space and the skilled masseuse. The game drive with Clement was a highlight, he was kind, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife. The bushfire experience was truly exceptional, and the food was fresh and delicious throughout our entire stay. A flawless getaway.

The actual lodge is nice but the service and food really arent. My husband and I got food poisoning. We were absolutely destroyed and got no consolation from the hotel. After I had paid on the booking website, we were told we need to send an email to reserve our spot for the game drive. I sent messages on booking, emails, contacted them Instagram several times and got no reply or confirmation. No way to reach them except calling. The game drive was so disappointing. We saw 1 giraffe, 1 elephant, and a few zebras far away. Some deer. Honestly it was expensive and not worth it. The customer service is horrible.

We used time share to stay at this super Lodge for a three night stay. Our accommodation was great! Every thing we needed. Well cleaned. Friendly and helpful staff. Just a great place for a quick getaway 2.5 hours from Johannesburg. I really loved going into the park. We saw amazing game! Truely it was a special weekend!
