Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel

This hotel and every member of the team is absolutely first class. The historic hotel is in pristine condition, beautifully decorated and incredibly well kept. Francesca, Mirko, Marco(!), and the whole team are incredibly kind, attentive and took great care of my wife and I while we were guests. The rooms, the food, the views, and the setting can’t be beat. I highly recommend. It’s also very centrally located to Positano and Ravello and offers a great base from which to explore the Amalfi Coast. 💯🤌🏼🇮🇹

This is a difficult one. The setting of Anatara Convento is staggering. Beautiful, cliff top setting with the whole of Amalfi in front. Staff are friendly and helpful, but you kind of get the feeling of being permanently short changed. Our room was decent nothing special and a need of a little more care and attention. For us a decent gym is important and the outside gym at anantara is an exercise in style over substance. During summer I don’t know how anybody could use it after 8 am or before 7 pm. The machinery needs looking after and unfortunately it is not. We had to remind front desk to remove the towels left in the laundry drop after their 2nd day. Food was generally good and we had a dinner at the fine dining restaurant which was good. Breakfast was also decent The hotel pricing is commensurate to much higher service delivery than we experienced. We loved our stay overall but the price point of anantara convento demands quite some higher level of care and attention. I would also ask if there are booked private functions or a marketing photo shoot happening, then pleaee tell your residents. Many people don’t assume they have to ask to have a dinner at the hotel if they stay there. Thanks
