Meeting Strasbourg
We meet at the Türk Hava Yolları counter in the international departures terminal at Istanbul Airport 3 hours before departure. After completing baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Stuttgart at 07.50 on Türk Hava Yolları flight TK 1701. We arrive in Stuttgart at 09.50 local time and set off for Strasbourg in the vehicle waiting for us at the airport.
Located in France's Alsace region, Strasbourg is known for its medieval neighbourhoods, which are among Europe's largest with cobbled streets. During our visit, we see the city's natural surroundings, historic buildings, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals and works of art. Strasbourg, where the French national anthem La Marseillaise was written, brings together Alsace culture and French architecture. On our city tour, we see Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square and the Petit France district, home to traditional Alsace houses.
After the city tour, guests who wish may join the optional Fairytale Villages of Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) tour at an extra charge. (110 Euro) The first stop on this tour, with opportunities to take photographs, is Egusheim. Named Favourite French Village in 2013, Egusheim is known for its historic buildings and natural surroundings. Colourful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region shape the appearance of Equesheim.
We then continue to Colmar, known for its historic medieval buildings, Gothic churches and colourful houses. As we explore its well-preserved streets, we see St.Martin Cathedral, built entirely from pink stone; Little Venice, whose small canals recall Venice in Italy; Maison Pfister, one of Colmar's oldest houses; and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with faces.
Our third stop is Kaysersberg. Located in France's Alsace region, Kayserberg is known for its medieval character, colourful houses and narrow streets. The 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg is one of the town's main landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church in the centre stands out for its Gothic architecture.
Our final stop is Riquewihr, home to many half-timbered houses in Alsace. This historic village features old houses decorated with flowers, narrow streets and a medieval setting enclosed by walls. During our visit, we see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the village's old walls.
After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. We stay overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.

After exploring Baden Baden, which has inspired many famous writers and composers, we will depart for Heidelberg, another city in Germany. Traces of the Middle Ages can be seen in Heidelberg's streets, squares and buildings. This quiet city is known for its architecture and the harmonious colours of its buildings. Sights on the city tour include Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge and Heidelberg Castle. After the tour, there will be a transfer to the hotel. Switzerland's largest city, Zurich welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic centre, Gothic churches and historic buildings. After seeing Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peterskirche Church, which has Europe's largest clock tower, we explore Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city's shopping centre. After our visit to Zurich, we travel to the historic city of Lucerne, in central Switzerland at the foot of the Alps.
