V Spa Hotel Conference Centre

Generally it is a very good hotel with a great location near the old town and just next to all major shopping centers. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. BUT, we specifically booked this hotel for the listed air-conditioning in the rooms. The AC is practically non-existent. We left the room with the AC turned on and the room actually got hotter. The nice girl at the desk admitted the AC is "tricky" and I must say she immediately offered us ventilators to our rooms that really saved the day. So it is a good thing they have good service and managed to have a quick solution. But do not advertise you have AC, at least not for cooling. The spa is nice but quite small in terms of the pools and hot tubs variety (we do not enjoy the sauna genre).

So, finally managed to try this place out, heard a lot about it. Overall my experience is positive, spa is spacious, rooms are big and comfy, huge bathroom with a bath (deluxe room). Amazing breakfast. Shopping center connected to hotel itself. However, there are still disappointing things present. Most importantly, the TV in the room is 15+ year old samsung with no internet, no netflix, no bluetooth. Having a kid with us who has to go to sleep at 20 and being stuck afterwards in the room with no tv is very annoying. Second weird dissappointment for me was the fact that saunas dont have any music in them. You just sit in darkness, sometimes alone, with no sounds but distant water splashes and ppl talking outside. I would expect to have different themed music in different themed saunas, like in the other spas ive been to. Lastly, our room was listing a "view". Jokes on me, it didnt say "good view", so we had a "view", just a really bad one :D Our view was on the inner roof with some pipes, hoses and other construction or service stuff laying around.

A very classy hotel in a good location. Price/quality ratio is great. Rooms are very comfortable and the hotel itself looks recently renovated. Breakfast is better than average but not exceptional. I wish the use of spa&gym was included in the room price because separately bought the price for them is rather expensive.
