We just wrapped up a week-long stay at Tianfu Sunshine Hotel with our two kids (both under 6) and honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Every morning we looked forward to breakfast. The spread was impressive, with something for everyone whether you're after Asian or Western food, and everything was cooked fresh from scratch. What really stood out was how nice the staff were. Nothing felt like too much trouble for them. When we needed transportation sorted, they took care of it without any fuss. Our room was always stocked with fresh bottled water, and the laundry service was smooth and reliable throughout the week, which as any travelling parent knows, is a lifesaver. The location worked really well for us too. We were never far from great food and shopping, and with two little ones in tow. We were relieved to find the hotel is very accessible — easy to navigate with a stroller, which made daily outings so much less stressful. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back!

Tianfu Sunshine sits in the centre of Chengdu, next to Fuhe Huoshui Park, Telecom Street and Taisheng Road. Chunxi Road, the Wenshu Fang tourist quarter and the Funan River are each a 10-minute walk away, and Wangfujing is a 5-minute drive for shopping. The North Station is 10 minutes by car, Shuangliu International Airport 30 minutes, and Chongqing can be reached in 2 hours on the road.
Rooms
The 221 carpeted rooms hold a double bed or a king-size bed and come with air conditioning, central heating, a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower, a bathtub and a hairdryer. A safe, a minibar, a fridge, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station are in place, while a washing machine and an ironing set suit longer stays. Internet access, a telephone, a TV, a radio and WiFi for a fee are provided, and rooms and bathrooms with wheelchair access are bookable.
Food and drink
