Obviously an older hotel, a little dated externally, with parking spaces not designed for today's cars, but all made up for by the stunning seafront location, friendly welcome, and great service. Bedrooms are spacious and the balcony a plus, the restaurant has lots of little corners so doesn't feel crowded, and the food, especially the buffet breakfast and Sunday roast, is excellent. Enjoyed the well-maintained pool and jacuzzi, other members of the party made good use of the gym. Evening entertainment in the bar was an added extra, as were the children's activities. A really enjoyable stay - thanks to the Dalmeny and the staff.

I stayed here last night with my 7 year old daughter, it's in a prime location just a short walk to the pier. Entertainment was chargeable, £10 for activities all day and evening entertainment which she loved. The breakfast went down a treat. Leisure facilities are very good, gym is well equipped and clean, the pool is decent too. Our room was a bit dated but all that a side, it was very clean, I had probably the best night's sleep I've had away from home for ages. This was my first time here, my daughter's third. I'll definitely be back again. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful here! No dramas at all! Thanks for making our stay memorable!!

The only fault i have is the room we had was dated, the bathroom was stained and old, tiles patched with mold breaking through, bath stained. HOWEVER if you ask for an updated room i cannot fault this hotel. The staff are all amazing, you generally find an odd disgruntled member of staff, but not here. The evening FOOD ! Delicious! The location is perfect for the beach and the small arcade, but generally a good location for families and couples wjo go for some peace too.
