The Steigenberger enjoys an enviable position in the heart of Stuttgart, and it was with great anticipation that we checked in for our four-night stay. Regrettably, however, the service fell considerably short of the standards one would rightfully expect of a property of this standing. Housekeeping proved disappointingly inconsistent throughout our stay — amenities and drinking water were never replenished, a basic expectation that went unmet on every single day of our visit. Compounding this was the inadequacy of the air-conditioning, which failed to cool our room to a comfortable temperature despite Stuttgart enduring the sweltering heat of 35°C during our time there. Restful sleep, under such conditions, was a luxury we were simply unable to enjoy. The hotel's prime location is undoubtedly an asset, but location alone cannot substitute for the attentive, reliable service that guests deserve — and that a hotel of this calibre ought to deliver without compromise.

Perfect Location: The hotel's location is outstanding. It is central and incredibly close to all the main attractions this wonderful city has to offer. Breakfast and Bar: The breakfast was good, and the hotel bar is very nice, quiet, and relaxing Areas for Improvement The Rooms: In my opinion, the rooms feel outdated (for example, the wall-to-wall carpeting). The TV is very old and difficult to operate. Lighting: There is a lack of lighting in the room, and the setup was complicated. Not all lamps were connected to the power outlets, meaning you have to choose which one to plug in. Breakfast Service: There is no menu at breakfast, and it was not possible to order hot or cold drinks. Spa and Sauna: The sauna was closed at 8:00 AM If the hotel management decides to address even a few of these points, I believe it would make a huge difference, This hotel has absolutely incredible potential
A bit noisy, but a quiet room for sleeping... Next to train station....Very convenient. The room was big for Europe standards... The bed was comfortable.... Quick and easy... The cigar room was great! Breakfast was delicious! The staff was friendly and very accommodating...
