Raffles Makkah Palace

Location

Raffles Makkah Palace occupies part of the Abraj Al Bait complex in central Mecca, a five-minute walk from Masjid al-Haram. The Kaaba is 300 m away and the Zamzam Well 200 m. Few addresses in the city are closer to the sanctuary.

Rooms

There are 214 individually decorated rooms. Each has a minibar, an iPod dock, a 42-inch LED television with digital channels and wireless internet. Bathrooms are separate and private, with a bath or shower, oversized shower heads and complimentary toiletries. Rooms also have a telephone, a safe and a work desk.

Food and drink

The hotel has two restaurants and two coffee shops serving light meals. Narjes Tea Lounge handles the main service. A buffet breakfast is served daily between 06:00 and 10:00 for a charge, and room service runs 24 hours.

Facilities

Air conditioning, lifts, bars, restaurants, a conference room, dry cleaning and open parking. Six meeting rooms are available for events. Free wireless internet, concierge service and a gift shop with a newsstand are also provided.
