Radisson Blu Hotel, Bristol

We had a really enjoyable stay overall, with some standout positives worth highlighting. From the moment we arrived, the service at check-in was excellent—friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The bar staff were just as impressive, creating a relaxed atmosphere and making it a great spot to unwind. Security was also clearly well managed, which added an extra level of reassurance during our stay. The hotel is now under new ownership as the Majestic Hotel, which is important to note. There are still quite a few Radisson Blu signs around, which did confuse us at first—especially as our booking was made under Radisson Blu with no mention of the change. A bit more clarity on that beforehand would have been helpful. That said, the reception and bar areas are beautifully done—very modern, stylish, and clearly recently updated. The rooms themselves are comfortable and clean, which is always a priority, although they do feel a little dated in comparison to the rest of the hotel. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. Perfectly placed for a night out in Bristol, with plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby and the theatre just a stone’s throw away. All in all, a great stay with excellent service and a brilliant location—we’d definitely consider returning.

Great hotel, great staff, room was adequate and clean. Just would be great to have a few more sockets for charging.A little bit of wear and tear but for the price I absolutely cannot complain. The front desk staff are lovely. Just need to be aware that the raddison blu has been rebranded as the Mystique hotel, so don't spend 15 min walking around confused like I did 😀

This hotel is now the Majestic since Jan 2026. We stayed one night while it is still in the process of changing over to the Majestic April 2026. Room rate reflects the cost of the changes over price, so some relative bargains to be had. Room was spacious with large ensuite, but dated. No USB plug etc, old fashioned sofa TV stand combo.unit etc However it was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good English buffet and very unrushed. The hotel is in a great city centre location with a nice bar from which to view city life.
