Orea Spa Hotel Palace Zvon

A beautiful old Bohemian Hotel with newly renovated rooms . Breakfast and dinner give you excellent choices and even as an vegetarian you can find enough salads for dinner. All meals come with appetizers and and the wonderful Tschechien deserts. We enjoyed especially for breakfast the generosity to take your sandwiches with you for your days hike. And you start your breakfast with an glass champagne for a room price where you in the US only get a cup of coffee..... The rooms are equipped with expensive soaps and shampoon that gave us for the whole stay a good feel of generosity from this hotel.

Great location, no doubt! We rented a suite - it had the tiniest bathroom you can imagine. Felt like standing in a freaking coffin. Worst of all tho: except for one person (lady, short hair) the people at the reception were unbelievably rude! Why work in hospitality? I travel a lot - but this level of rudeness and ignorance was unmatched!

When you're used to the other OREA hotels, this one's simply a big disappointment. The rooms are old, poorly equipped and uncomfortable (it's manageable, but you simply expect more). Same thing with breakfasts and dinners, you expect nice modern selection, but instead you get boring old fashioned cuisine. It's obvious the hotel is probably catering to the different visitors - mostly older foreigners. Service is super nice as always, but they don't really have much to show off here. The whole place just lacks any charm, or simply anything 'more'. The spa pool is very nice though, though super small. There even wasn't any body lotion at the room.
